GBS CIDP nerve disease

May 5th, 2022 was the European Day of Protest for Equal Opportunities for People with Disabilities and it celebrated its 30th anniversary.

The day was initiated in 1992 by the advocacy group Self-determined Living in Germany (ISL).

Dear ones, it is so important that people with disabilities are seen and taken into account.

I and many others of us know only too well the everyday limitations that make it difficult or even impossible to participate in normal social life.

Bars, cafes, restaurants, public toilets, train stations, etc. are TW. are still not handicapped accessible.

Even doctors and physiotherapists are not always barrier-free. So that people with restricted mobility do not always have the chance to get help. That must not be!

And what about the invisible barriers we have to contend with!?

Discrimination is the biggest barrier

And what about belief

"People with disabilities are less attractive"! I've made it my mission to do this      to prove otherwise.

To animate, to make us visible. to hide no more. Not to be ashamed of diseases or disabilities that are part of us, regardless of whether they are mental, physical or  mental.

I never tire of repeating

First and foremost I am human

and then comes my illness/disability!!

We belong to society, like everyone  others too.
Have a right to participate, like everyone else.
Have a right to equal opportunities

And the most important

‼️WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE HUMAN AND TO FEEL THAT WAY AND TO BE TREATED THAT WAY  AND EVERYONE ELSE‼️
